Join us for a virtual Vision Board experience with Creative Conversations for our NCBW Sisterhood.

Greetings Coalition Sisters!

Thank you for registering for the NCBW Delaware Chapter First Sisterhood Saturday. This activity is a Virtual Vision Board Gathering on Saturday, January 29, 2022 at 10 a.m. – 11:30 a.m. We are looking to have fun, connect, focus on growing our sisterhood with our mission in mind.

Please take some time to do the following prior to attending the virtual gathering:

• Theme – NCBW Delaware Chapter theme for 2022 is “Celebrating The Year of the Black Girl”.  The focus is on Commitment, Engagement and Communication.
• Theme Song - When professional boxers to the ring, they have theme music.  You need theme music for 2022, too.  You are fighting for your life and the lives of our constituents.  You are fighting to make sure you and NCBWDE WIN this year.  You are fighting to make sure NCBWDE raises more money this year.  You are fighting that voice that says you can't when you can. In addition to the NCBWDE theme songs you may choose a personal theme song for yourself.

• Tell the Truth - What was your contribution to NCBWDE in 2021?  How can you give more of your time/talent and treasure?  Are you connecting with other Coalition Sisters?  What energy did you put into the mission of NCBWDE in 2021?  What will you do differently in 2022?
• NCBWDE Vision and YOU - It's YOUR organization and YOUR life.  Simply put.  Let's stop that crazy thing we do called COMPARING.  NCBWDE needs everyone!  We need the various talents and strengths of every sister.  Be great in your own way. Not everyone wants to be a LEADER.  We need you to excel as a great member of this wonderful organization as we collectively work together to inspire and uplift Black Girls.  So, let’s be great together.

Before and during the event...

• Supplies needed – Canvas or poster board, markers or crayons, glue, glue stick, scissors, magazines and optional items:  stickers, embellishments, ribbon, & any other item you want to use. The NCBW-DE logo, 2022 theme and committee names will be provided to you via email.
• Magazines- You will need 3-5 magazines.  If possible, please use a variety of magazines.
• Beverage – Prepare your favorite beverage for our toast.
• Photography – Take a photo of your workspace, set up and finished vision board.  There is NO dress code for this gathering.  Wear something that inspires you.  Be comfortable.
• Virtual Event starts at 10:00 am.
