Health

July is National Minority Mental Health Awareness Month. The negative stigma of mental health creates an environment that is shameful to those that need help the most. The feeling of shame often forces people into silence. This should not be, especially when one in five people are affected by  mental health conditions. A mental health condition does not discriminate based on a person race, nationality, gender, or socioeconomic class. Let’s break the silence and encourage people to seek help.
